Rev. Dr. Glenda Hollingshead
Originally from Tennessee, Glenda comes to Valdosta after having served six years at Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church in Colonial Heights, Virginia. A second career pastor, Glenda holds a B.S. from Carson Newman University, a M.Div. from Emmanuel Christian Seminary, a Doctor of Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary, and she is a graduate of Shalem Institute’s Spiritual Guidance Program. Glenda is passionate about preaching and spiritual formation. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, playing guitar, listening to and writing music, biking, taking long walks, and dreaming about what wonderful things God might be up to next! She and her husband, Kinney, have been married 38 years. They have four children and two grandchildren—all who reside in Tennessee.
Growing up locally, Katie is a member of First Christian Church of Valdosta. She received an A.A. from Wiregrass Technical College in Criminal Justice and is currently pursuing her B.A. in Business Administration. Katie is married to Donald Altman and has two children, Emilee, 10 and AJ, 7. She is also a mother to two furbabies, Weezie and George. When not doing school work, you can find Katie cheering on her daughter's football team or her son's baseball team.
Since early 2016, Julie has been FPC's bookkeeper. She set up the financial module of new software, streamlined the financial process to make it more efficient, and compressed the monthly time required to do the work. A longtime Valdosta native, Julie is married to Dr. Alan Stout, an emergency medical physician. They have college-age children. Julie's hobbies include biking, horseback riding, tennis, swimming, diving, travel, farming, and reading.

Dr. Donna Gosnell
In addition to being organist at FPC since 2008, Donna is a professor of chemistry at Valdosta State University. She and her husband, Ralph (who is an IT with VSU) have two adult daughters and two granddaughters.
A native of Pennsylvania, Donna was graduated with a B.S. from Penn State, an M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego. With a Presbyterian student missions background (Thailand) and beyond her chemistry and music, Donna’s hobbies include gardening and cooking.
Break Bread Together
Growing up in Valdosta, Beth finished a B.S. from Rollins College and a M.S. from VSU. A member of Valdosta First Christian Church, her career and experience has been strong in social services, people services, non-profit organizations, public relations, volunteer recruitment/development, and fundraising.
With family in both Valdosta and Miami, Sabina’s time is shared between First Presbyterian and the Valdosta City School System. One of our best “greeters,” Sabina keeps our facilities lovely and presentable for all occasions.
